Ol' Lightnin' Rods Antique Car Club 2015 Car Show and 29th Annual Court Square Street Fair and Barbecue Cook-Off!
$100 Cash Award for Best of Show, Concession stand, broadcasting live from Oldies 1170 with Bob Stroud and the Boogie Shoes Network, 50/50 Drawing and Prizes
Memorabilia from all eras of Sampson County history and other artifacts. Eleven buildings on premises. Demonstration of Spinning Wheel, Crocheting, Knitting and other. Take a ride on the horse and buggy. Observe lye soap making, candle making, traditional beadwork, basket weaving and milking a goat. Watch the blacksmith demonstrate the basic steps of processing iron and use of forge.
