Patient Celebrates 100th Birthday at Sampson Regional Medical Center

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Clinton, NC, October 28, 2025:  Sampson Regional Medical Center (SampsonRMC) had the joy of celebrating one of their patients turning 100 years old.

Still driving and full of life, Susie Faison of Sampson County is a true inspiration to all who meet her. A lifelong supporter of SampsonRMC, she recalls watching the hospital’s construction in the 1950s and has continued to cheer on its growth and service to the community ever since.

“It’s incredible to think I was here when the hospital was just a frame,” shared Faison. “Sampson has always meant so much to me and to this community.”

Clinical staff members and Sampson Regional Medical Center’s Volunteer Services joined in the celebration by surprising her with balloons, a special card, and plenty of well-wishes. Her story is a shining reminder of the hospital’s deep roots and enduring connection to the people it serves.

“We were honored to celebrate this milestone with someone who has witnessed and supported Sampson Regional through every generation,” said Judy Naylor, Director of Volunteer and Spiritual Care Services. “She embodies the spirit of resilience and community that defines our hospital.”
