Smithfield's Chicken N' Bar-B-Q set to bring Eastern North Carolina roots to six new states

CARY, NC, October 10, 2025 - Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q today announced plans to expand its franchises into six new states, marking a significant milestone in the brand's continued growth beyond its North Carolina roots.

The expansion builds on Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q's long-standing success in North Carolina, where the brand proudly operates 39 franchise and company-owned stores.

Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q will bring its signature barbecue and Southern-style food to South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi, extending its presence across the Southeastern United States and bringing a taste of Eastern North Carolina tradition to new communities.
